As part of the framework for the business plan competition, training session for applicants are to be organized across the country. The first of these trainings was held on the 18th of December 2017, which was attended by circa 750 applicants.
In fulfilment of the mandate presented to the African SME Organization as a private sector implementation partner of the National Entrepreneur and Innovation Plan (NEIP) and continuing with the agreed upon plan of the National Business Plan Competition. As per directives from the Chief Director of the Ministry to immediately get traction from the whole country of the Ministry’s activities, we will start the next waive of training from the Northern Sector of Ghana.
Below is the schedule from 8th to 12th January 2018.

The training is expected to impact nearly 2500 businesses and prepare them adequately for the next stage of the competition. The African SME Organization will contact all participants expected to attend and based on the experiences at the first section in Accra, it is expected there will be a circa 90% attendance rate.
